The resort of Crans-Montana is easily accessible from Sierre station with the SMC bus company or the funicular. The nearest stop to the start of this route is : Crans, Téléphérique.

From Sion station, you should get a CarPostal bus for Crans-Montana and get off at the bus stop: Crans, Poste.

The free shuttle buses of the SMC bus company serve the whole resort of Crans-Montana from mid-december till mid-april. The nearest stop to this route is Crans Téléphérique.

Getting there

To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 metres, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana".

Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs that lead you to the cable cars and the Crans-Cry d'Er car park.

The journey takes about 25 minutes.

RANDO PASS

The ski lift companies are offering a “Rando Pass” allowing all hikers (whether on foot, skis or snowshoes) who do not have a ski pass (day, consecutive or Pass 365/365+/100) to make their way down in the cable cars or on the ski pistes in complete safety while the ski area is open.

CHF 5.- per day | CHF 50.- for the winter season.
