Im Garten des Südens angekommen. Auf dem Höhenrücken entlang des Valle Nervia und dem Valle Roia dem Mittelmeer und Ventiglia entgegen.

Das Ziel die Côte d'Azur ist erreicht.

Von Roccetta geht es auf der rechten Talseite langsam aufwärts. Der Sentiro Balcone bringt uns langsam hoch auf den Bergrücken zwischen Valle Roia und Valle Nervia. Manchmal durch Wälder, manchmal durch Weinberge und Olivenhaine geht es dem Meer entgegen. Obwohl viel bewässert wird, ist kein Wasser für die Wanderer vorhanden. Über viele kleine Zwischenansteige kommen wir langsam von den Ligurischen Bergen herunter. Kurz vor Ventimilia, das Meer zum greifen Nahe, geht es manchmal steil hinunter in die Stadt. Das Mittelmeer ist erreicht.

Und haben wir keine Mittel mehr, so baden wir im Mittelmeer.
