Vom Valle Stura über den Caserma ins Vallone di San Bernolfo nach Strépeis.

WIr verlassen den Ort in westliche Richtung, Vorbei am Friedhof über den Bergbach F. Stura di Demonte folgen wir dem WegzeichenMonte Vaccia. Durch einen dichten Nadelwald schlängelt sich dder Weg nach oben. Auf der kleinen Hochebene mit den Ruinen der Kasematten Ricovero, Monte Vaccia wechselt der Wald in offen Weidelandschaft mit wunderbaren Blick ins Valle Stura, Vallone dell´Ischiator und Vallone di San Bernolfo. Wir folgen dem bewaltetem Weg ins Vallone dell´Ischiator nach Baita Luca. Nach der umrundung der Ostflanke vom Monte Seita ist es nach Strpeis nicht mehr weit.

Um etwas abzukürzen, sind wir dem Weg über die Bergrücken T. di Cavias, Monte Ciaval und Test della Costabella del Piz zum Passo Rostagno und Rifugio Migliorero nicht gefolgt, sondern direkt nach Strepeis gelaufen.
