Wir folgen der Wegmarkierung und überschriten den Fiume Stura di Val Grande. Durch den Wald hinauf zu den verlassenen Weilern Gias Nuvo, di Mezzo, del Laghi zum Colle di Trione 2.485 m. Der Abstieg vorbei am Lago und Alpe Vasuero, Plan Prá und Alpe Pian nach Chialambertetto und weiter nach Balme.
