Von Rifugio geht es hinauf an das südliche Ufer von Lago di Ceresole Stausee.

Etwa in der Mitte des Sees wenden wir uns nach Süden und steigen zunächst durch den Wald aufwärts. Am Lago Piano del Morti vorbei weiter hinauf zum Coll della Crocetta. Der Abstieg am Lago di Vercelina vorbei und über die Hochflächen hinunter nach Pialpetta.
