Vom Val Mastallone über den Colle d'Egua nach Carcoforo im Valle d'Egua und über den Colle di Termo nach Rima.

Von der Alpe Baranca geht es auf einen gut erhaltenen Walserweg stetig aufwärts hinauf zu Colle d'Egua. Von hier präsentiert sich die Monte Rosa in voller Pracht. Punta Giordani, Vincentpyamide, Schwarzhorn, Ludwigshöhe, Parrotspitze, Signalspitze mitderCapanna Magartta, Zumsteinspitze, Dufourspitze (4605 m) und Norden sind von diesem Platz gut zu sehen.

Über das Rifugio Boffalora geht es hinunter nach Carcoforo. Auf der gegenüber liegenden Talseite geht es unmittelbar hinauf zum Colle Termo und hinunter nach Rima. Der Ort galt um 1908 als reichster Ort Italiens. Einige Handwerker beherrschten die Kunst der Verarbeitung von künstlichem Marmor (Stuckmarmor) und haben bei Bau des Märchenschlosses Neuschwanstein mitgewirkt..
