Take your mountain bike with you on the RegioExpress Lötschberger train from Brig to Goppenstein, then board the bus to Wiler. Your mountain bike tour begins here and you will be required to use your calf muscles to reach the upper Lauchernalp station. Enjoy the view of the Bietschhorn and a refreshing stop at the restaurant at the top of the gondola lift. Follow on fun Breithorn Bike route to Ried. The route leads eastwards to the village of Fischbiel before a steady climb of about one kilometer to Netzbord: the start of the descent. Finally reach the village of Blatten in the heart of the magical Lötschental.
