Cette excursion se fait à l'aller et au retour par le même sentier. Vous partirez du restaurant La Cure, d'abord sur la route asphaltée, puis vous grimperez le long d'un sentier qui vous permettra d'atteindre la cave du Scex et le bisse de Tsittoret jusqu'à sa prise d'eau dans la Tièche. Vous traverserez ensuite la rivière pour vous engager sur le chemin dans la prairie d'altitude, jusqu'où l'herbe ne pousse plus à 2'500 mètres, au col de la Roue. De là, vous continuerez sur un sentier de pierrier jusqu'au sommet. Le Trubelstock est avec le Rohrbachstein l'un des sommets d'où la vue imprenable est magnifique, d'abord sur les Alpes Valaisannes et Bernoises, et ensuite sur la Plaine et les coteaux du Valais central.

This hike should only be undertaken on beautiful sunny days. If it is stormy or the weather is changing, the hike should not be attempted as you are in the middle of nowhere. Furthermore, this hike requires a good level of physical fitness, not only on the way up but also on the way down. Thus, you must definitely save some of your energy so that you have enough for the descent, as this will take you another 3 hours.

The resort of Crans-Montana is easily accessible from Sierre station with the SMC bus company and from Sion station with the bus company CarPostal.

The free shuttle buses of the SMC bus company serve the whole resort of Crans-Montana. The nearest stop to the start of this hike is: Aminona.

Getting there

To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 500 metres, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for Aminona, and then the signs for Aminona car park.
