Autumn hike Saas-Fee
After leaving the café, continue along the narrow paththrough the forest. At the first intersection take the right forktowards Hannig and follow the path upwards, climbing ever soslightly. You soon come to the edge of the forest above Stafelwald, home of our cute marmots. Once you reach the Feldstrasse, take a right and follow the Dorfrundweg-sign throughthe grove over the hill until you reach the cross with the fireplace. Immediately after the cross, turn right across the fields. This path takes you to the Gletschersee and over an area of moraine to the Gletschergrotterestaurant.
When you eventually tear yourself away, follow the path backdown towards the Felskinn cable car base station. From there, turnright, reentering the forest and eventually meeting the Suonenweg, rejoining the village by the Panorama Bridge and then to the Busterminal.
