The idyllic Grächnersee is located above the Grächen village and can be reached in 15 minutes via a brief, romantic stroll from the centre of town. A leisurely stroll along the lake shore can be enjoyed in tranquil surroundings. It is the perfect place for an excursion on hot summer days, offering cool refreshment, though it is not an official bathing lake. Visitors who don’t want to cool down with a dip in the water can relax at the ‘Zum See’ restaurant with an ice cream. Once a week, fishing is permitted in the lake. Nearby are pubs, the historic water pipes, the Äbnet alp and an open-air fireplace.
