Glacier · Valais · 2,870 m
The Plaine Morte Glacier is flat and in places as much as 200 meters thick – draining direction Lenk predominantly in the Bernese Oberland, but also in the Rhone Valley of Valais. Summit strolls are worth every minute, with views of the Rhone Valley, Valais side valleys and high Alps nicely lined up and standing to attention in the south - from Mischabel to Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. Do not miss the great experience of cross-country skiing on the glacier in Winter!
