Die Gegend Piansecco eignet sich ausgezeichnet für Ausflüge mit Kindern, weil die Hütte von All'Acqua leicht erreichbar ist. Auf einer stündigen Wanderung erreicht man den Bergsee Lago Pigne. Und nur wenige Meter von der Hütte entfernt wurde ein Klettergarten eingerichtet. Wer hier übernachtet, wird von der Küche mit herrlichen Tessiner-Gerichten verwöhnt. Die Piansecco-Hütte ist ein Etappenziel auf der Vier-Quellen - Weg.
Wenn sich im Herbst die Lärchen goldgelb verfärben, ist der Besuch der Hütte ein besonderes Erlebnis

Die Hütte wurde kompelet umgebaut und im Juli 2020 neu eröffnet. (Kein aktuelles Foto vorhanden)
